An excellent site !! I have enjoyed looking at this build of my favourite car. You have done a great job. My uncle used to work on Daytona Coupe's for Alan Mann at Chertsey as well as Mustangs and Falcon Sprints.

Great site! Once you start reading, it's hard to stop. I would love to see more updates??? If you went through the whole process again now, would you do another Crendon, and if so would you do anything different?

Great site with great care for detail. Building now a Dax Rush Cosworth 270hp as a warming up. Cobra will be next if the money is there. Like your description of companies before buying. Life is hard now choosing Dax or Crendon. Pity Crendon hasn't a website. I will definitely visit Crendon. Thanks again for all your wonderfull efforts.

I have just come across your site and have found it very interesting, and am most impressed by your ability in car building. I was wondering if you could help me. My boyfriend is building an AC Cobra 427, its his birthday coming up - and i want to get something to help him on his way, but don't want to buy him a part. Can you suggest a book or something that would interest him and help him out- i would be very grateful for the advice as my knowledge of the world of cars is somewhat limited!! and i can see that you know exactly what you are talking about! hear from you soon. yours Rebecca Corbett

It was my pleasure to take a look to your page. I would like to say : The best and most detailed page I´ve ever seen. My heart beats for the cobra. Since a few years i`m lookin´ for a real good Cobra kitcar producer in good old germany but i did not find a one. You gave me a real alternative to build a kit car.
so i thank you . Go on with your page.

Nice page
I see that you have to buy and find a lot of parts to finish the car.
Isn't there a supplier who can offer a complete car kit.??
Have fun with your car

Great site, shame about the typos. Very informative and interesting, I've been sitting here reading and looking at the great pictures since 11pm and it's gone 3am now!! I only wish I had the knowledge/ability/money/patience to do something like this myself. The pictures of the car in a scenic setting really show it at it's best.

I have been viewing your site. Very interesting, imformative & honestly independant in commentary. I have been a very shy and amateur fan of AC Cobra's since childhood. Currently working as an IT contractor in London hoping to save enough pennies to puchase a throaty, WELL CRAFTED and very enjoyable drive in the not-too-distant future. I was actually quite surprised at the costs involved and am in no position to consider a self-build. May consider pre-built to very low milage second hand, budget of £20K max. I look forward to following your developments and take some inspiration to following through on my purchase by your comments.

Best Regards

Tom

I own a 1969 Camaro Z28 replica. While I was at a car show recently 2 Cobras parked next to me. One was from South Africa and had a 514 motor with 600+ horsepower. It was one of the best I had ever seen, you couldn't tell it from an original 1965. Thanks and I really enjoyed your page.

Havn't read all the way through your site but I'm pretty impressed with the way you faithfully recorded & photographed your build.

I suppose we all mean to do just that when we first start, all I have is some photos of the donor car parts being refurbished then it jumps forward to the body sitting on the chassis & then one or two shots of the finished car!

Brilliant job you made of yours, they really make you feel so proud when other drivers do a double take.

My build was a pilgrim sumo mk11,took me about a year and 7 mnths to complete, as you said 'are they ever really finished?'

again I must say congratulations on a great build. when people ask me why I don't have pictures of my build I tell them my hands were too badly skint & bleeding to hold the cammera steady. I think youmknow what I mean.
